Mac OS X Lion: Icon View Zoom Slider Status Bar Missing

Missing Mac OS X Lion Zoon Slider Status BarHas Your Zoom Slider Gone AWOL Since Installing Lion?

Don’t worry, this is just part of the new streamlined look that Mac OX Lion is trying so hard to achieve.

The zoom slider is located on the status bar and the status bar is hidden by default.

Simply click View  > Show Status Bar and it will magically appear again!

Thank You! Any idea the two finger pinch/spread trackpad gesture won’t work in finder for that any more? And do you know why instead of reformatting like usual (or whatever the word) in Safari using that method is replaced by the easy reader zoom like the double tap? I hate it, I just want the text such to be larger in the same web page size/format, not the whole website so I have to move left and right..
