Hi Jenny…
This is not the same problem as described in this post. The problem with the font is simply that you need change it within the page. Select the page in iWeb, then select the block of text and then click the A (Fonts) on the toolbar to reveal the fonts inspector.

AAAH!
I’m having the same issue and I’m totally not iweb savy.

If you go on the website http://www.williamtravisjewelry.com you’ll notice that the heading “William Travis Jewelry” has a different font in the Collections tab. This is a “My Album” page. I can’t seem to change the title. It won’t even let me click on it. When I select All it does show the text box.

The person that set it up is no longer working here so I’m not sure exactly what she did.

Thingy keeps thinking im posting HTML.

Look for the TITLE tags, they are surrounded by less than and greater than symbols. In between them is the text that appears in the URL. Sorry for the posts dudes. I did try..

Using java is way to complex. An easier way is this :

1. Open up TextEdit in Apps
2. Open the HTML file, but MAKE SURE you tick ‘ignore rich text commands’
3. The HTML opens up raw, simply change the text within the ” tags thus :

‘whatever you want to appear’

4. Upload this HTML file to your server.

DONE.

Iweb will overwrite this when you edit the page, but simply do this again.

I couldn’t get it to work either, and then I noticed a couple of the curly quotes in the line of code are curling in the wrong direction. Fix those and it should work.

Hi guys, I am so confused! Please could someone help?
I have my website up – Trufflepr.com but the title still comes up as ‘home’ when you do a search for Truffle PR on google. I’ve added a HTML snippet to each of the pages so that it comes up as something along the lines of ‘Truffle PR is London’s top PR agency for clients in the consumer and lifestyle sector’; I’ve changed the position of the widget from top left to bottom of the page and it’s still not changing.

I’m going a little bit crazy trying to change it. Could someone please help? Will be so grateful when this is soted! Ellie
