Download: SDFix.exe

Download IconDownload SDFix.exe

SDFix is a powerful utility specifically designed to remove thousands of known viruses such as trojans and worms.

It is NOT an anti-virus program – it IS a virus removal tool.

It does not have a bloated user interface and quickly and efficiently cleans your system.

Unlike a mainstream antivirus program such as Symantec, Kaspersky or McAfee, it is free and you do not install it and it will not slow your system to a halt.

Simply download it and run it and it will scan your system and remove any infections that it finds and will produce a detailed report describing it’s actions.

Because of the nature of this program, some mainstream anti-virus programs have raised false positives and actually identified sdfix.exe as being a virus itself  – these are not true if you have downloaded the file from a reliable source.

The file, sdfix.exe, that can be downloaded below is hosted right here on proposedsolution.com, a trusted source.

  • SDFix.exe removes thousands of known viruses such as trojans and worms.
  • Requires Windows XP or Windows 2000.  (Not tested on Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8)
  • You need administrator access for this to work (default for most Windows users)
  • You need to be able to access Safe Mode for this to work

Usage Instructions

To download sdfix please do the following:

  1. Click the ‘Like‘ button in the download area below to reveal the download links (REFRESH page if you don’t see it after clicking LIKE.)
  2. Save the file sdfix.exe to  your desktop.
  3. Sdfix.exe is a self extracting zip file.  Double-click sdfix.exe and it will extract itself automatically to the c:\SDFix folder (by default).
  4. Restart Windows in Safe Mode (instructions)
  5. Open Windows Explorer and open the c:\SDFix folder.
  6. Double click RunThis.bat and the tool will launch in a DOS window.

This download is provided free and without any guarantee that it will solve your problems.

You may however use it as you wish and distribute it freely to your friends and colleagues if it’s of some use.

This file is now hosted here on proposedsolution.com!

Hi, Got a serious problem caused by an unknown virus, trojan, whatever that Norton can’t find it.
cmd, task manager, regedit, gpedit not working which I fixed them
but I’m sure the virus is still there.
I suspected Godzila but it’s not.
Downloaded your SDFIX, but the .bat file enters the command prompt in safemode then just gets out of it.

      Hey Max…

SDFix requires Windows XP or 2000. Try running catchme.exe instead. You can download it here:
